Welcome to the Youth Ministry page of the Bryan First Church of Christ. The purpose of this ministry is to meet kids of all ages where they are and to direct, mentor, and love them to a relationship with Jesus Christ while making Christian disciples.

Where Can I Get Involved

There are many areas in the church that need volunteers, but especially for the Youth programs. Below, you will find a list of some of the areas in which we need help. It all boils down to volunteers who love kids and want to see them come to Christ. Are you willing to spend some time to make an eternal impact on the lives of kids?

If you have an interest in serving we always need:

Teachers – for both Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings
Assistant Teachers – to help and support the teachers
Chaperones/drivers – various times and activities
5th Quarter Workers – Friday nights following at home football games
Children’s Church Teachers – during second service sermon time

What to Expect in Learning

Both Sunday School and our Wednesday night program are designed to create an environment where kids can learn the principles of the Bible relevant to their age. We do this through various activities, lessons, and games. The youth will be learning to become disciples of Jesus Christ while having fun and sharing with others.

What to Expect in Activities

Throughout the course of the year, activities will be planned to get students together to have fun or to serve or both at the same time. The activities will vary as far as what we do and where we go. Different months may also be geared for different ages. You can get a calendar of upcoming events through the church office, through the church newsletter, or on this website.
